    SUMMARY

We analyzed 45 patients (pts) with lung sarcoidosis, between 30‡62 years of age (female 25, and male 20). In 30 pts, the beginning of illness was acute with Löfgren syndrome (66,6%), one pts had Heefort- Walenstrom's syndrome, and 14 pts (31,2%) had a chronic illness. Some of lung symptoms were dominant: polyarthralgia (35/ 77%), fever (28/ 62%), and erythema nodosum (30/ 66,6%). Most frequent lung symptoms were cough (34/75,5%), dyspnea (13/ 28,8%) and chest pain (7/15,5%). Radiology shows both sided hilar and/or mediastinal adenopathy (30/ 66,6%), one sides hilar adenopathy had only one pts, second radiology stadium had 10 pts (22,2%), third- 3 (6,6%) and forth one (2,2%). Preserved lung ventilation had 30 pts (66,6%), disorders in small airways 3 (6,6%), obstructive 5 (11,1%), and restrictive disorder of ventilation 7 (15,5%) patients. Transfer lung factor for CO (DLco) was lowed in 30 pts (66,6%) (minimal values 46%- max. 70%). No significant correlation between VC, FEV1 and DLco (p>0,05) was found.
