LASER TERAPY IN PHYSICAL MEDICINE

The discovery of laser enriched the medical science with a very useful therapeutic modality. The specific characteristics of laser irradiation led to it's wide application in many medical branches. A laser treatment has many advantages: it is painless and has shorter application than other procedures. Nowadays, different laser models are used in therapeutic purposes, but they are all based on the same physical principles. In some specialities such are physical medicine, rheumatology, traumatology, sport medicine, neurology, dermatology and stomatology, laser therapy is widely applied.
