Abstract

In this study we examined the effect of low-power laser on oxidative stress (products of lipid peroxidation - LP and production of superoxide anion redical - NBT) and on antioxidative enzymes rgarding different wavelengths of laser irradiation. The laser effect was examined on experimental animals with the frequency of 5000 Hz, wavelengths of 660nm and 904nm using the energy density of 0.1 J/cm2. The results show massive production of oxidative substances with no influence on antioxidative status and on applied wavelength or penetration depth.
