LOW POWER LASER THERAPY IN THE TREATMENT OF RADIOHUMERAL EPICONDYLITIS

Abstract

The study included 24 patients with radiohumeral epicodylitis.There are divided into two groups: Group I (n=11) was treated with low power laser therapy (904 nm, in the dose 2 J/cm2), and Group II (n=13) was treated with electrotherapy (electrophoresis or diadinamic current). The estimation of therapy was done by pain intensity follow-up with modifed Mc Guill,s questionnare

CONCLUSION: Laser therapy is the most appropriate choice in the pain reduction therapy.
