Abstract

Cavernous malformations are vascular malformations which have been described in all parts of the central nervous system. However the localization in the ventricles is rare, especially in the third ventricle. The patient harboring the cavernous malformation in the third ventricle with severe, intermittent headaches and signs and symptoms of hydrocephalus has been described .The patient was operated on successfully.
