SUGAR IS SWEET BUT DANGEROUS

Sugar is viewed from various aspects regarding its composition, metabolism and consumption. A special importance is given to the role of sugar in preventing cardiovascular diseases. It is stressed that the widely-accepted theory about fats as causes of coronary diseases should be changed since the consumption of great quantities of ordinary sugar is of greater importance for causing coronary diseases. In the conclusion it is claimed that proper nutrition is one of the key factors in preventing the formation of many diseases in human organism.
