THE PRESENCE OF THE DIABETES FOOT SYNDROME ON THE TERRITORY OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF KRUSEVAC

The aim of the paper is to point to the presence and importance of the prophylaxis and the medicament treatment of the diabetes foot syndrome (dfs).
In retrospective, 188 patients suffering from diabetes with the diabetes foot syndrome were examined, which means 11,2% of the overall number of 1.681 patients involved in the study done by the Medical Center, Kruševac. The greatest presence of the disease is in older age goups with poorly regulated glycemia Glycemia greater than 7,8 mmol/1 is registered in 85,37% of the examined while increased values of cholesterol and triglyceride are found in 78,15%. Excessive obesity BM 27 is present in 82,76% of the examined.
