Carcinoma of intraoral localization is characterized by an intensive and short biological course with a low degree of five-year survival from 30 to 50%. In the second half of the twentieth century cariometry developed as a subdiscipline of pathohistology. The aim of the paper is to determine the ratio between cariometric parameters for the nuclei of the intraoral localization carcinoma cells and the survival duration of the patients with this kind of tumor. The research included the examination of 75 patients; the multivariant regression analysis was applied to find the correlation between cariometric parameters for the nucleus and the survival duration. There was no statistically important correlation established between cariometric parameters for the nucleus and the survival duration in the patients with intraoral carcinoma; thus, it can be said that the parameters for the nucleus cannot give any relevant data for the biological course of the intraoral localization carcinoma.

Key words: Carcinoma of intraoral localization, cariometric paramteres of the nucleus, survival duration
