THE USE OF DRUGS IN RENAL FAILURE

    Beside excretory role in elimination of many drugs, there is intensive metabolism and secretion in kidney, which is essential for normal functioning of many organs and systems.The use of drugs in renal failure is associated with doubled risk of side and toxic effects. That is the reason why meticulously modificated dosing of drugs eliminating or metabolized by kidney is essential, particularly drugs with small therapic wideness and drugs which cumulate.
