Introduction: Oral squamous cell
carcinoma (OSCC) is the commonest oral malignancy and accounts for over
90% of oral cancers. Though tobacco consumption in its various forms is
the main etiological agent, nowadays, the incidence of virus induced
cancers is increasing.
