of tooth wear, which can be caused by a variety of reasons, such as food
erosion, physical attrition, and abrasion due to contact with foreign
objects. Abrasion is caused by exogenous material rubbing against tooth
surfaces; it is multifactorial linked to occupational or dietary habits.
