...Abstract

The role of occlusion interferences in the ethiology of functional disturbances is mostly controversial.
The very occlusion dysharmony dose not lead to pain if there is no psychic tension, just as psychic tension cannot lead to a painful dysfunction in case of the existance of an ideal occlusion.
And finally a bold announcement: emotive reactions of the deepest intimacy, meaning in the sphere of sexuality, seem to be part of algodysfunctional syndrome. (Acta Stom Naissi 1999;16:3-10)
