...Abstract

 

This article describes and analyzes the most significant vasocontrictors (VC) in local anesthetics (LA) applyed in orofacial surgery and dentistry. The final effect of VC (epinephrine, norepinephrine, neo-Cobefrine, Cobefrine and Neosyneprine) on the cardiovascular system in relation to concentration of VC in LA is analyzed as well as the interaction of VC with other drugs.
